Master Mason
A unit that holds the next building for you. Queueing it spends nothing, so a raid can still empty the warehouse.
Stock Travian
The Gold Club master builder holds one extra building, and you pay gold to use it.
Travikas
Train a Master Mason in the Mason's Lodge. Each one holds one waiting build in the village where it stands, when that village is yours: at home, or reinforcing another of your villages. The resources are taken when the job actually starts.
Requirements
Main Building level 5
- One Mason's Lodge per village. Twenty levels.
The Lodge
The Lodge trains only Master Masons. A higher level lets you train more: one for every four
levels, five at level 20. That cap counts every Master Mason this village has trained, including
ones that are away, reinforcing somewhere else, or still in training.
Only a Master Mason standing in a village you own opens a slot there. One you sent as reinforcement to another of your villages holds the slot in that village. One on the march, parked in someone else's village, or standing on an oasis, holds nothing.
The unit
Stats depend on your tribe. The rows are on the troop table. Upkeep is 2 crop, speed is 7, and they carry
nothing. They fight with your tribe's stats, on attack and on defence, and a battle report shows
them in their own column. The war simulator leaves them out.
The waiting build
- You can queue one job per Master Mason in that village, at home or reinforced in from another village you own.
- Nothing is taken from the warehouse when you queue it.
- The job starts when a build lane is free and the village has the resources at that moment, in the order you queued them.
- Romans have two build lanes. Teutons and Gauls have one.
- During a play window the start is free. Outside a window it costs 1 gold, and only if you ticked the gold box on that job and you have the gold. Otherwise the job waits for the next window.
If you have Plus and that village's Plus waiting slot is free, a Master Mason job can step into the Plus queue while a build is already running. It is paid at that moment, then it behaves like any other Plus build: cancelling it refunds the resources, and the Master Mason slot is free again.
If your Master Masons leave or die and you have more waiting jobs than slots, the newest jobs are cancelled. Nothing comes back, because nothing was taken.
Why it exists here
A window is about half an hour. The Lodge is how you line up the building you will not have time to click, without locking the resources away from a raid or from the Alchemy Lab. The clock those jobs run on is queues and the 10x clock.
